Headland Montessori ELC - Manly Campus

Established 2012, our Manly Campus is a unique offering for families looking for outstanding Montessori Early Childhood Education and Long Day Care. Our campus is located in the heart of the beautiful Sydney Harbour National Park, surrounded by native Australian bushland but conveniently within a 5 min drive from Manly ferry.

Our campus is licensed for Long Day Care and approved for Childcare Subsidies (CCS), it is also NESA accredited for NSW Independent School (Year K/Foundation/Kindergarten).

As one of the only Long Day Care services in Australia to be accredited as an Independent School by a State Government, our children are able to complete their Kindergarten/Foundation year of Primary School with us prior to Year 1 of a State or Independent Primary School.

This offering of a 3 year Montessori Program from age 3 to 6 is particularly important for families choosing a Montessori education for their children.

The highly qualified and experienced educators at Headland has developed our own bespoke Montessori Curriculum Mapping framework to gain accreditation with the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) and therefore gaining the approval to become a School in NSW. We focus our work in making our programs holistic for every child, focusing on following the child's needs and developmental goals and applying our Montessori philosophy and practice. We work to allow our children to be confident, resilient, independent, compassionate and able to take on the challenges of the new world we live in.
